However, I discovered that the X10 can be stuck on thicker rugs, crashing noisily over them, best inexpensive robot vacuum and sometimes pushing its front brush into them.

This is a fantastic robo-vacuum and mop however, it's hampered by the confusing app. Eufy Clean's application isn't as easy to use as the iRobot App, which guides you through the process of setting up your robot up and shows you how to use. It's still a great alternative however, and provides plenty of customizability for those that want to get the most of its features.

The battery in the S10 isn't as long lasting as its competitors and might need to be recharged every few months through the year when you live in a large house. Furthermore, it can be noisy during operation and might not be suitable for use in areas where silence is desired. It is, however, an excellent value for its price. The SwitchBot S10 is an item that stands out from the rest because of its sleek, contemporary design.

5. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a new version of Switchbot's Mini robot vacuum. This latest version combines a new Anti-Tangle Rubber Brush with an Advanced Position Sensitive Detector sensor (PSD) and an increased suction power to 3000Pa for better corner coverage.

The K10 Plus uses SLAM navigation which is a simple application and an extensive cleaning process. The PSD sensor works in conjunction with a rotary brush to navigate through furniture. The four-stage process of cleaning consolidates cleans, lifts and sweeps debris from floors and carpets. The dust bin automatically emptys itself and you don't need to worry about it being emptying frequently.

The app can also be used to mark areas of the room which you want the device to stay clear of like pet toys or power cords. This is a feature that's found in all robotic vacuum cleaner comparison vacuums and is particularly useful when you have certain parts of the home that need more attention than others.

You can set the K10 Plus to return to its base station every 60 90, 75 or 60 minutes to automatically empty its dust bin. This is a major improvement over other robots that require a return trip and manually empty. It will save you lots of time.

In my tests in my tests, the K10 Plus had a very good battery life result. It lasted for 110 minutes on one run which is much more than the iRobot Roomba Combo Essential's 127 minutes.

The K10 Plus has a fairly compact design, making it easy to fit under furniture or in tight spaces. It connects to Wi-Fi and supports Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri shortcuts. It also works with IFTTT and Samsung SmartThings. Its app tracks the usage of its accessories, such as the filter, side brushes, and dust bag, letting you know when it's time to replace them.
